You're standing in the middle of the road next to the war memorial in Boscawen
Street. The Victorian building behind the memorial stands on the site of
the 14th century Coinage Hall, where tin was assayed. It's now home to Pizza
Express on the ground floor and Charlotte's
Tea House upstairs.
The City Hall houses the City Council Offices, the tourist
information centre and the Hall for Cornwall, which attracts over 180,000
theatre-goers a year.
