Four years in the making, Truro's half million pound skate park was officially opened in May 2009. Designed by and for skateboarders, the 530 square metre skate park has had a rapturous reception from the skateboarding community and will provide local people and visitors with one of the country's best skating facilities.

The Skate park was designed by Anthony Greenwood, a graduate of the BA 3D Design course at University College Falmouth. He enlisted the help of teenagers and pro skateboarders to create a facility that everyone seems to agree ticks all the right boxes.
