Helsbury Park sits on the side of hill which slopes down to the Camel River in the wooded valley below. The pond provides the perfect spot to sit and relax for a while before venturing on into the valley. On a day like this it makes the perfect picnic spot, where you can relax with a beer or a glass of wine and watch dragonflies flit across the water. From here you can see the cottages at the top of the track that leads from the gate and curves round to the right at the top of the hill.
