The National Museum of Gardening at Trevarno houses one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of garden tools and memorabilia in the country.
In addition to a collection of seventeenth century gardening tools made by local blacksmiths and craftsmen the museum includes gardening tools from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, as well as more recent gardening implements.
Exhibits are set in ten themed areas - this panorama shows a superb display of antique watering cans. The museum also has a fine collection of gardening-related commercial graphics including company logos, advertising material, posters and illustrations, some of which you can see on the walls here.
