Two tall windows in the
Tidal Zone provide a unique view of underwater life in the Fal estuary.
As the tide rises the view changes and the museum pontoon and distant
views are replaced with a seascape filled with fish, crabs and other
marine life. You can see the low tide mark at the bottom of the window,
look up to see just how far the water rises at high tide.
When you've had enough of looking out of the window, you can use
interactive displays to discover how the moon influences the tide and
find out more about the plants and animals that live in this Special
Conservation Area.
