St Ives Sloop Inn

This view from outside the Sloop Inn gives you a good idea of what St Ives is like in mid-summer. Visitors downing a pint in the sunshine, families enjoying a day out on the Harbour beach and street traders hawking their wares. At the top of the lamp post with the hanging basket you'll see a St Ives resident you'll need to keep a wary eye out for. The gulls can be quite aggressive when it comes to obtaining lunch, so try your best to keep your sandwiches to yourself.

The Sloop Inn is one of Cornwall's oldest inns, believed to date from the early 14th Century.
