The St Enodoc
Hotel is an oasis of style and understated luxury tucked away in Rock,
on the North Cornwall coast. The popular holiday village of Padstow
lies on the opposite side of the estuary, a ten minute ferry crossing
away.
The Camel estuary plays host to an
abundance of water sporting activities from sailing to kitesurfing and
with a golf course next door, the surfing Mecca of Polzeath down the
road and miles of local walking and cycling routes, it would be hard to
find a better base for outdoor activities. Rock is also an excellent
starting out point from which to explore Cornwall's gardens, museums
and other attractions.
The hotel has 16 double
rooms and four family suites, all with ensuite bathrooms. The St Enodoc
is that rare thing, a sytlish, quality hotel that values children as
guests. There's a well-equipped playroom and an outdoor pool; a
communal children's tea is provided in the evening.
This
is the drawing room. With its deep sofas, contemporary paintings and
huge fire, it's a room you could easily get settled in. St Enodoc Hotel website
