Newlyn Trinity Methodist Chapel

View from a pew

Newlyn Trinity Methodist Chapel was built in 1834 at the centre of the Cornish fishing village of Newlyn. Your viewpoint is from one of the box pews in the horseshoe gallery. Below you can see the pulpit and in front of you the original organ.

In August 2006 the chapel won the South West regional heat of the BBC's Restoration village series. The Live final was broadcast on BBC2 at 9pm on Sunday September 17, when Griff Rhys Jones announced the winner - Chedham's Yard in Warwickshire.
