Charlotte's Tea House is on the first floor of the Coinage Hall. Walking
through the door is like stepping back in time. From the beamed ceilings
and chandeliers to the waitress's uniforms and Early Grey tea, it is 'a
sanctuary of Victorian Tranquility'.
As well as a wide variety of teas including Assam, Darjeeling,
Earl Grey and Lapsang Souchong, Charlotte's sells tea from the Tregothnan
Estate - the the first ever English tea grown in Cornwall. They also do
coffee, lunches, sandwiches, cakes and pastries - all cooked on the premises. |
