St Agnes Trevaunance Cove

The local beach at St Agnes is Trevaunance Cove. There used to be a harbour here many years ago but it has long since disappeared. The remains of it lie at the Western end of the beach - a popular spot for fishing.

Trevaunance has excellent local ameneties including beach huts for hire, surf board and wetsuit hire, surfing tuition and a small shop as well as a bar and restaurant right on the beach. There are two car parks, one right next to the beach and a larger pay and display one a couple of minutes walk away. Trevaunance also has some of the best maintained public loos in Cornwall - complete with piped music!

St Agnes is one of Cornwall's most popular surf spots, picking up medium to large westerly swells and providing some shelter from South Westerly winds, but when it's good it tends to get quite crowded.

Like many beaches in Cornwall, Trevaunance is lifeguarded in summer and dogs are allowed all year round.
